Principal contractor VINCI had a contract in Holyhead to build a new inspection shed for HMRC Inland Border Facilities. HMRC Inland Border Facilities is a Government site where customs and documents checks can take place away from the port locations.

C G Jones Brickwork was contracted by VINCI’s sub-contractor Marshdale Constuction to carry out the block and brickwork package. We supplied labour and materials to build the internal rooms for the inspection shed.

The job consisted of building 140mm blocks tying into the steel frame, working with a cavity wall with insulation and 100mm blockwork. This included 100mm blocks laid flat for some walls.

VINCI and Marshdale were pleased with our quality of work and particularly in keeping within the deadline to finish the work.
